well i first got this idea when i first got the game and even asked a few people if there was a way to do it, but there didnt seem to be a way to do it which is being able to have text above your head, but not have it show up in chat part. then i thought about how cool it would be if we could have editable hotkeys that we could put in random sayings to each hotkey and be able to taunt other players and monsters ect... even during battles. even have monsters and enemies that can speak a language taunt the player back. kinda like prince rurik does on some missions with him in it.

this would be such a cool addition to the game i think. and it could not only work for taunts but u can have some hotkeys to be able to help out your group like telling them u need more life or energy or just whatever.

Edit: let me add that i know about the /taunt emote but do u really have time to stop fighting to use it lol? or feel like typing it in rather when u could just hit a key and up pops "is that all you got?" or "where did you get that crappy armor" to name a few. but everyone would have their own ones to keep it original.

and this is kinda another suggestion of its own but to not make another post ill put it here.
i would like to be able to turn off the item drop text. i think it is so annoying at times and takes up alot of the screen and another thing that makes it annoying is alot of times when people say things i have to scroll up to read cuz 2-3 items just dropped and took up my whole chat screen lol. id like to be able to see my drops only. and also a option to turn off who just won favor. that way whenever i see green text ill know something dropped for me.

Only if a corresponding filter is added which lets you totally ignore this. Not because it's a bad idea, but because no doubt people will spam it like crazy
